Fred Barber: Mr. Barber formed Power Plant Management Services, LLC in September of 2006 for the purpose of providing general and administrative services for investor owned projects.   From 2003 to 2006, Mr. Barber was engaged in various project management functions for Energy Investors Funds including General Management of Mustang Station and Denver City Energy.  Prior to July 2003, Mr. Barber, in addition to his position as General Manager of Denver City Energy Associates, served as Executive Director of Operations for NRG Energy.   In this capacity, he was responsible for operations of a diverse fleet of 23 plants encompassing many technologies including natural gas, liquid fuel and coal burning plants with over 23,000 MWs of generating capacity.   Additionally, Mr. Barber was responsible for numerous new power plant projects including construction completion, testing, staffing, commissioning and initiation of commercial operations.   Prior to NRG, Mr. Barber served in roles of Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager, Plant Manager and General Manager of combined cycle power plants in New Jersey and Texas.  Mr. Barber has over 30 years experience in engineering, construction, maintenance and electric power industry operations.   Mr. Barber is a 21-year Navy veteran where he served in the Engineering Duty Officer community involved in steam and gas turbine propulsion projects with responsibilities in engineering, operations, construction and repair.  Mr. Barber earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kansas and his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  

Scott I. Gross, CPA:  Mr. Gross is Finance & Accounting Director for PPMS.  He offers over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting and management positions.  This experience includes accounting management, M&A activities, asset acquisitions and divestures, negotiating transactions, managing a portfolio of assets, and business development.  Mr. Gross joined PPMS in January 2007.   Prior to PPMS, Mr. Gross served as Vice President for Quixx Corporation, a subsidiary of Xcel Energy.  He also held senior financial positions with Southwestern Public Service Company.  Scott is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who earned his Bachelor's of Business Administration from West Texas A&M University.

Melvin D. Murphy:  Mr. Murphy is Director of Project Management for PPMS.   He offers over 16 years of power plant operations and maintenance experience, following a 15 year naval career including nuclear propulsion operations.   Mr. Murphy joined PPMS in January 2007, and supervised a PGM providing review of EPC contractor’s construction of new LMS 100 simple cycle generation facility being built under the oversight of the California Energy Commission (CEC).  Prior to PPMS, he served Xcel Energy, in several growing leadership roles culminating in Vice President & General Manager of the Quixx Power Services subsidiary.  He also held key power plant operations and maintenance positions at Woodland Biomass Power, and Kingsburg Cogeneration Facility where he became plant manager.  His technology experience includes natural gas (including Dry Low NOx) and Naphtha fired Combustion Turbine and Combined Cycle facilities, Natural Gas Fired Boilers, Biomass Fired Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler, and Biomass Fired Fixed Grate Boilers.  He is an alumnus of the Naval Nuclear Power School.

David Coke:  Mr. Coke is a Projects General Manager for PPMS.  He offers over 33 years experience in Asset Management, O&M, and Start-up, and he provides analysis on how these issues affect the cash flow of the venture.   Mr. Coke joined PPMS in April 2007.   Prior to PPMS, he served as Executive Director with E3 Consulting, VP Operations with American National Power, and General Manager O&M with Ebasco Services.   He also held senior engineering and management position with TXU during which time he was actively involved in the start up of the lignite fueled supercritical Sandow unit 4.  He has a keen focus on achieving outstanding returns to shareholders, superior service to customers, and providing a great place to work for employees.  His B.S. in Mechanical Engineering is from the University of Texas at Austin, as is his M.B.A.

Brian Henderson, CPA:  Mr. Henderson is a Project Accounting Manager for PPMS.  He offers over 32 years of experience in finance, accounting and management positions.  This experience includes accounting management, M&A activities, tax, audit preparation and business development.  Mr. Henderson joined PPMS in May 2007.   Prior to PPMS, Mr. Henderson held several senior financial positions for Hershey Foods Corporation, J.A. Jones, and served as Controller & Secretary for Black River Energy, LLC.  He also served as Vice President Finance / CFO for Robert C. Strickland Co.  Brian is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who received his B.S. in Accounting (Top 1%) from the University of Delaware.

Peggy Lyons:  Ms. Lyons is the Charlotte Office Manager for PPMS.  Her 25 years of accounting experience included 21 years in Corporate Accounting positions at J.A. Jones Construction Company, a majority as General Ledger supervisor for JAJCC and 6 subsidiaries.  Other positions at J.A. Jones included Accounting Manager for the holding company, J.A. Jones, Inc., and accountant for the 5-person Bankruptcy Closing Team.  Ms. Lyons’ career continued at Black River Energy LLC as accountant with duties in A/P, A/R, and G/L for 2 power plants, before beginning her position at PPMS in May 2007.  As Project Accounting Assistant she works primarily with Accounts Payable and General Ledger processing for 7 companies, as well as special project activities.

Matt Wolske:  Mr. Wolske serves as a Projects General Manager for PPMS.  He offers over 15 years experience in power plant and asset management, facility operations and maintenance, construction, start-up/commissioning, and engineering.  Mr. Wolske began working with PPMS in June 2007 following his tenure with North American Energy Services as Plant Manager for Mustang Station.  Additional projects include two MidAmerican Energy facilities, Yuma Cogeneration Associates and Power Resources, Inc., where he held several managerial and technical positions consisting of Operations Manager, Maintenance Manager, EH&S Coordinator, and Plant Engineer.  Mr. Wolske earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech.

Lesa Wood, CPA:  Ms. Wood is a Project Controller for PPMS.  She offers 14 years of experience in finance and accounting positions.  This experience includes finance, tax, audit and business management as well as preparing monthly, quarterly and annual GAAP financial statements for investors, creditors and management use.  Ms. Wood  joined PPMS in May 2007.   Prior to PPMS, Ms. Wood was self-employed as an on independent CPA, and served as a staff accountant for Johnson, Miller & Company, CPAs.  Lesa is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who earned her B.B.A. in Accounting from Texas Tech University, cum laude.

Gordon Holk:  Mr. Holk is a Projects General Manager for PPMS.  He offers over 20 years experience in Asset Management, O&M, Construction oversight, and Start-up.  Mr. Holk joined PPMS in January 2008.   Prior to PPMS, he served as Business Manager with Calpine, Project General Manager with NRG, LS Power and Sithe.  Early in his career he held technical positions with Wheelabrator and served 6 years in the Navy.  He offers excellent training, recruiting, Business Plan development, budget analysis, and implementation, and team building skills.

John C. Buckley, PE, PHR:  Mr. Buckley is General Counsel, Project Support and Compliance Director for PPMS.  He offers over 25 years experience in enterprise support functions including Legal, EHS, HR, Engineering, and Marketing.   Mr. Buckley joined PPMS in January 2008.   Prior to PPMS, he served as Assistant General Counsel and Global EHS Director with Polypore, a leading international manufacturer of energy storage components that launched a successful initial public offering (NYSE) during his tenure.   Previously he served as General Counsel and Vice President of Renewable Energy Corporation, a publicly traded (ASX) investment of Duke Capital Partners.   He previously served as Counsel and EHS Manager for US Operating Services Company (then a PG&E/Bechtel partnership).  His career also includes management and senior technical or legal roles with Duke Energy, UtiliCorp (aka Aquila), E3 Consulting, Maryland Power Plant Research Program, Miles & Stockbridge, and NRG.   In addition to being a licensed attorney, he is a registered Professional Engineer, a certified Professional Human Resources manager, and a Notary Public.   His B.S. in Environmental Engineering (Radiological emphasis) is from Penn State University, his J.D. is from the University of South Carolina School of Law, and he is an alumnus of the York University’s Sustainable Enterprise Academy.

Don Burkard Mr. Burkard is a Projects General Manager for PPMS.  He offers 30 years experience in power generation.  Mr. Burkard joined PPMS in February 2008.  Prior to PPMS, he served as Plant Manager for Crockett Cogeneration.  His career also includes a role as Manager Power and Utilities with Gaylord Container, and 17 years with General Electric, including regional responsibilities for Steam Turbine Field Engineering Services, repair support (electrical and mechanical) for PG&E’s Geysers turbine fleet and leadership for a certified GE Steam turbine and Generator repair facility.  Don earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.

Jessie T. Wilson, CPA:  Mr. Wilson is a Project Controller for PPMS.  He offers over 14 years of experience in accounting positions.  This experience includes preparing monthly / quarterly / annual financial statements (I/S, B/S, Cash Flow, Actual to Budget Reports, Debt Service Coverage Ratio) and other management reports.  Mr. Wilson joined PPMS in March 2008.   Prior to PPMS, Mr. Wilson held accounting positions for North American Energy Services, Utility Engineering, Quixx Corporation, Weyerhaeuser Paper Company and Amarillo V.A. Medical Center.  Mr. Wilson also served as a Gas Turbine System Electrician with the US Navy.  Jessie is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who earned his B.B.A. in Accounting from West Texas A&M University.

Betsy E. Smith, CPA:  Ms. Smith is a Project Controller for PPMS.  She offers 9 years of experience in accounting positions.  This experience includes analyzing business clients’ general ledger accounts, preparing monthly financial statement compilations, and entering all transactions, and subsequently analyze and reconcile inventory, A/P, A/R, payroll, fixed assets, equity, and all other accounts.   Ms. Smith joined PPMS in May 2008.   Prior to PPMS, Ms. Smith was self-employed as an independent CPA, served as a tax consultant for Deloitte & Touche, staff accountant for Lynch & Howard, and as accounting manager for Petway, Mills & Pearson.   Betsy is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who earned her Bachelor's degree and her Master of Accounting from North Carolina State University.

Frank Basile:  Mr. Basile is a Projects General Manager for PPMS.  He offers 22 years of experience in Power Asset Management, which includes predominantly gas-fired combined cycle facility construction, commissioning and O&M direction.  Having managed Berkshire Power Company, LLC, since its inception in 1998, Mr. Basile joined PPMS in January of 2009, to continue to provide site asset management services.  Prior to the construction of Berkshire Power, Mr. Basile was employed by J. Makowski Associates and later US Generating as Project Engineering Manager and O&M Manager at the MASSPOWER and, Selkirk Cogen Facilities, thereby overseeing construction and commissioning with Bechtel Power, and O&M services with General Electric.  Frank is a US Patent Holder and Originator who earned his B.S. in Mechanical / Marine Engineering from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.

Karen S. Thomas: Ms. Thomas, serves as Business Manager for PPMS, managing client billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, internal accounting functions and office management duties, including HR and benefits support.   She joined PPMS in March of 2009.  Prior to joining Power Plant Management Services, LLC, Karen held the position of Firm Administrator for Bridge Associates, a leading bankruptcy and turnaround management firm.  She has also held Office Manager and Office Administrator roles with Accounting Principals, Associated Ear, Nose & Throat of Tulsa, and Parks Edge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She is a Notary Public who earned her B.S. in Biology (Cellular emphasis) from Northeastern State University, and her M.B.A. (Accounting concentration) from John H. Sykes College of Business at the University of Tampa.

Robin Shropshire:  Ms. Shropshire is Manager, Enterprise Compliance and joined PPMS  in August 2009.   After serving as the State Project Officer managing the Upper Clark Fork River, the nation’s largest Superfund site, and Butte Priority Soils Superfund site for the State of Montana, Robin was appointed by the Governor of Montana to serve on the Montana Board of Environmental Review.  She has also been a Helena City Commissioner, as well as a tenure track faculty member at the University of Montana at Helena.  Earlier in her career she successfully built from zero and managed the P/L of the Duke Engineering & Services office in Calgary.  Later she was asked to lead the EHS Manager function for Duke Energy's Canadian midstream business. Near the beginning of her career Robin also served as a Project Manager for AMEC, an international environmental consulting firm.  She earned her B.A. in Geology (Top Senior in Geology Award) from the University of Montana, and her M.S. in Hydrogeology from the University of Waterloo.

William N. Smith:  Mr. Smith is a Project Director for PPMS.  Mr. Smith joined PPMS in September 2009.  Prior to PPMS, Bill worked at Wachovia Bank in the Balance Sheet Management group analyzing structured transactions and conducting analytic research and as a member of the Wachovia Securities Structured Products Group focused on energy assets. Prior to Wachovia, Bill worked at Piedmont Natural Gas and Duke Energy.  While at Duke, he was responsible for managing Duke Power’s mid-term origination team and the OTC derivative portfolio as well as directing any financial modeling needed to support the maintenance, planning, and reliability of the regulated generation assets.  Bill started his career with NASA at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland where he was employed as an aerospace engineering technician and toolmaker and later was promoted to Manufacturing Engineer and Operations Research Analyst.   Bill received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland and his M.B.A. from Wake Forest University.

Phil Plott: Mr. Plott is the Human Resources manager for PPMS.   Phil worked for Duke Energy in a number of Human Resources areas including technical training, employee development, organizational development, recruiting, and executive coaching for over 25 years before forming his own management recruiting and consulting firm.  While at Duke, he served as manager of technical training and corporate professional development responsible for providing seminars and training to employees in the power generation organization.  He later managed the corporate staffing functions for Duke Power and Duke Engineering and Services and directed college relations, engineering and accounting recruiting, and executive search.  Phil received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte. 

David Duggan:  Mr. Duggan manages Information and Communication Technology as the IT Manager for PPMS.   David joined PPMS in April 2010.  He worked for J.A. Jones in a number of IT areas including LAN administration and internet for 14 years before forming his own IT consulting firm.    David attended Virginia Western Community College.

Sylvia Kinsey, CTP:  Ms. Kinsey is Treasury Manager for PPMS.   Sylvia joined PPMS in April 2010.  Sylvia worked for Cogentrix in a number of finance and treasury areas for over 19 years leading to the role of Assistant Treasurer.  Her areas of expertise include debt portfolio management, project finance, liability and cash management, and compliance.. She was actively involved in waiver request, notices, and amendments that relate to the project loan documents. She is past Chair/President of the Association for Corporate Growth Carolinas Chapter and is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).  She  received a Bachelors degree in English from East Carolina University and her M.B.A. from the Colgate Darden Graduate School Of Business Administration at the University Of Virginia.

Jeremy Morgan, PE, PMP:  Mr. Morgan is Manager, Project Support including engineering, fuels, and fuel byproducts, for PPMS.  He joined PPMS in June 2010.   Jeremy was a Project Director at Fluor Corporation where he was responsible for engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance of biomass power projects.  Jeremy has also worked at Aquila as Vice President, Business Operations and Renewable Energy as well as with Exxon and the Army Corp of Engineers.   He has his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Professional Engineer (PE) license, his B.S. in Civil Engineering and M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Oklahoma State University, and an M.B.A. from the Keller Graduate School of Management.

Robert Montore, PE, CPM:  Mr. Montore serves as a Projects General Manager for PPMS.  He joined PPMS in June 2010.  Bob has been the Deputy Director of Plant Operations and Maintenance at UNC Wilmington.  He has served as Director of Operations with Foster Wheeler Power Systems and as General Manager of Carneys Point Generating Plant with US Generating Company.   Bob is a Certified Public Manager (CPM) and a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and he served in the US Navy.

Eric Wheatley, CPA:  Mr. Wheatley serves as an Accounting Manager for PPMS.   He joined PPMS from the Shaw Group in June 2010.  Eric was the Coal/Gas Business Line Controller at Shaw Power.  He previously held several positions with Cogentrix Energy leading to Accounting Manager, as well as roles with KPMG and Duke Energy leading to the role of Manager of Corporate Reporting & Forecasting with Duke Energy.   Eric is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Accountancy from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University.

Tracie Weeks, CPA:  Ms. Weeks serves as an Accounting Manager for PPMS.   She joined PPMS from the Shaw Group in June 2010.  Tracie was the Power Business Line Controller at Shaw Power.   She previously held several positions with Cogentrix Energy leading to Manager of Operations Accounting, as well as roles with Arthur Andersen and Carlisle Companies leading to the role of Financial Accounting Manager with Carlisle Companies.   Tracie is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a  Bachelor of Arts in Accounting with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and an Associate Degree in Computer Science from Central Piedmont Community College.

Claude Jacobs: Mr. Jacobs is a Project Controller for PPMS.  He offers 9 years of experience in power industry accounting positions wit Selkirk Cogen.   Mr. Jacobs joined PPMS in June 2010.   Prior to PPMS, Claude was a Commercial Analyst with Beech-Nut Nutrition Corporation.   Early in his career he held several positions with Featherstonhaugh, Conway, Wiley and Clyne culminating in an Accounting Manager role.  Mr. Jacobs earned his Bachelor's degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany.

Anne Reece, NCCP:  Ms. Reece is Legal Manager for PPMS.  She offers 20 years of paralegal experience, over 5 years in power industry.   Anne joined PPMS in June 2010.  Prior to PPMS she worked for Cogentrix where she was a Transactional and Corporate Paralegal.   Prior to Cogentrix, Ms. Reece progressed through a series of varied and challenging paralegal roles including law firms such as King & Spalding, Smith Helms Mulliss & Moore, and Robinson Bradshaw & Hinson.  She also served as in-house paralegal to Novant Health, Davis Selected Advisers (mutual fund group), and University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina.  Her interspersed experiences in sales and as a Business Planner offer her a broad practical perspective on legal issues.    Ms. Reece is a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal (NCCP) and a Notary Public who earned her B.A. degree in History (minor in Economics) with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Richard D. Grubb: Mr. Grubb is Director of Project Management for PPMS.   He offers over 35 years of power plant design, construction, operations and asset management experience.   Mr. Grubb joined PPMS from Cogentrix, June 2010, where he served as Vice President, Operations and Vice President Asset Management.  Prior to Cogentrix, Rick served NEGT (and its predecessors PG&E NEG, and USGen) as General Manager of a series of plants of varied fuels (gas, coal, waste coal) and technologies (PC, CFB, Stoker, MSW, Simple Cycle and Combined Cycle).  He also held key power plant management, operations, engineering, and start-up positions with Iowa Southern Utilities (now Alliant), and the Hennepin Energy Resource Recovery MSW Facility where he was facility manager.  His experience includes general asset management, EHS oversight, P&L, project optimization, commercial oversight, legal oversight and operations oversight, along with business plan development and implementation for multiple facilities, including coal, waste coal and gas projects. His Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering is from Iowa State University.

Lauren Billheimer, PE: Ms. Billheimer is a Compliance Manager for PPMS.  She offers 10 years of experience in power industry EHS positions.   Lauren joined PPMS from Cogentrix, July 2010, where she was an Air Compliance Manager.   Prior to Cogentrix, Ms. Billheimer was an Environmental Engineer with Suez Energy’s Trigen BioPower.  Earlier in her career Lauren progressed through a series of more challenging environmental professional roles with  ICF Kaiser Engineers, Avendt Environmental, Cooper Environmental, and URS (formerly Dames & Moore).  Ms. Billheimer is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) who earned her BS degree in Marine Science from the University of South Carolina and M.S.E. in Civil Engineering (Environmental emphasis) from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Joseph E. Ruggiero: Mr. Ruggiero is a Compliance Manager for PPMS.  He offers 25 years of experience in power industry water chemistry and environmental positions.   Joe joins PPMS from PSEG, July 2010, where he was responsible for all aspects of Environmental, Safety, Security and Water Chemistry related activities associated with the construction oversight and operation of a 750 MW gas-fired power generating facility.   Prior to PSEG, Mr. Ruggiero was Environmental Manager for the Athens Generating Project for PG&E National Energy Group.  Earlier in his career Joe was Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator for the Pittsfield Generating Plant and he served as Plant Chemist for the Logan and Carney’s Point plants.  Joe progressed through a series of plant chemistry roles with Deseret Generating and Transmission, Narragansett Electric Company, and New England Power Company.  Mr. Ruggiero earned his B.S. degree in Chemistry and Marine Biology from Roger Williams University.

Jennifer Sliter, CPA: Ms. Sliter is a Project Controller for PPMS.  Jennifer joined PPMS in July 2010 from the regional public accounting firm Wagner Noble & Company where she was a senior accountant.  Her power industry experience includes  serving for several years as Project Accountant for Cogentrix.  Earlier in her career she was a staff accountant in Maryland with Lanigan, Ryan, Malcolm & Doyle, P.C., a regional public accounting firm.   Ms. Sliter is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who earned her B.S. degree in Accounting with a minor in Economics from Virginia Tech.

Nathan Hookman: Mr. Hookman is a Project Controller for PPMS.   Nathan joined PPMS in July 2010.   Prior to PPMS, he was a Project Accountant with The Shaw Group, where he was promoted to Financial Analyst.   Earlier in his career he held the position of Associate Business Manager with Washington Group International before it was acquired by URS.  Mr. Hookman earned his B.S. degree in Financial Management with a minor in Accounting and a concentration in Financial Services from Clemson University.  He is currently pursuing his M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from Queens University.

Bob Beasley, CPA: Mr. Beasley is a Project Controller for PPMS.  Bob joined PPMS in July 2010 from The Bank of Southern Connecticut where he was an Accounting Officer.  He also held several roles including Divisional Controller, Accounting Manager, Senior Corporate Accountant, and Senior Divisional Operations Manager with Bank of America Business Capital and its predecessors Fleet Capital, Shawmut Business Capital and Barclays Business Credit.    His energy industry experience includes serving for several years as Controller for JFP Energy, Inc. in Houston, and as Consolidations Supervisor for Moran Bros., Inc, a publicly held $50million dollar oil and gas company.   Mr. Beasley is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who earned a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and a B.S. degree in Physical Education from Campbellsville University.

Michael Shott, CPA: Mr. Shott is a Consolidation Manager for PPMS.  Mike joined PPMS in July 2010 from Limited Brands, Inc. where he was an Internal Auditor.  His more than 7 years of power industry experience includes serving as Accountant, and then Senior Accountant, for Buckeye Power, Inc.  Earlier in his career he held several progressively more responsible roles with KPMG, LLP.   Mr. Shott is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who earned a B.S. degree through the Honors program in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting, graduating cum laude from The Ohio State University. He was awarded an M.B.A. with an emphasis in Finance, also from The Ohio State University.

Doug Stockton: Mr. Stockton is a Projects General Manager for PPMS.  Doug joined PPMS in July 2010 from Cogentrix where he was a Director, Asset Management.  His more than 31 years of energy industry experience includes 17 in the power industry.   He served as Asset Manager - Contract & Asset Management with El Paso Merchant, Manager - Contract & Asset Management with East Coast Power, and as Manager - Contracts & Legal Support with Cogen Technologies Energy Group. Earlier in his career he held several progressively more responsible roles with United Gas Pipe Line Company, Texas Energy Petroleum Corp, and Conoco.   Mr. Stockton is a licensed attorney who earned a B.S. degree in engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, an M.B.A. from Georgia State University and his J.D. from the University of Houston.

Stephen Bailey, CPA: Mr. Bailey is a Project Controller for PPMS.  He offers over 8 years of experience in finance, accounting and management positions.  Stephen joined PPMS in July 2010 from Cogentrix where he served as a Project Accountant.    Prior to Cogentrix, Mr. Bailey held several financial positions for Evening Post Publishing including Business Manager of Aiken Communications and Controller/Business Manager for Post Publishing.  Earlier in his career he held credit and collection positions with The Charlotte Observer and Founders Federal Credit Union.  Stephen is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who received his BS in Business Administration (Accounting concentration) from Winthrop University and his M.B.A. from Charleston Southern University.

Mickey Bellard: Mr. Bellard is the NERC Manager  for PPMS.   He offers over 30 years of power industry experience.  Mickey joined PPMS in August 2010 from SERC Reliability Corporation where he served as a Compliance Specialist and Lead Auditor.    Prior to SERC, Mr. Bellard was a Plant Manager and Manager of Plant Production for  Progress Energy Combustion Turbine Operations.  He also served as Superintendent of Operations for NiSource.   Earlier in his career Mickey held several increasingly responsible positions with Entergy culminating in Supervisor of Control Operations.  Mickey received his B.S. in Organization Management from Calumet College and his M.B.A. from Indiana University School of Business.

Bernie Beaudin: Mr. Beaudin is a Compliance Manager for PPMS.   He offers over 23 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety, 20 years in the energy industry.  Bernie joined PPMS in August 2010 from Cogentrix where he served as a EHS Manager for Selkirk Cogen.    Prior to Cogentrix, Mr. Beaudin held that position for PG&E Generating, PG&E National Energy Group, US Generating and J. Makowski & Associates.  Earlier in his career Bernie was the Environmental Specialist for J. Makowski and Altresco at Pittsfield Cogen, Plant Manager at EnviroTech Southeast, Technical Services Supervisor / Plant Superintendent for Gibson Oil & Refining, Field Engineer for Bird Environmental, and Chemical Coordinator for IBM.  Bernie received an Associates Degree in Environmental and Life Sciences, Environmental Technology option with Dean's List Honors from Berkshire Community College and his BS Health Sciences in Environmental Sciences from the University of Massachusetts.

Brian Biagi, CPA: Mr. Biagi is a Projects General Manager for PPMS.   He offers over 19 years of experience in several asset and financial management roles in the power industry.  Brian joined PPMS in August 2010 from Cogentrix where he served as a Director-Asset Management.    Prior to Cogentrix, Mr. Biagi held the position of Finance Manager for PG&E National Energy Group and Conectiv Energy.  Earlier in his career Brian was a  Tax Manager Atlantic City Electric.    Brian is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Master of Business Administration from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-Camden and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey .

Tim Biittig: Mr. Biittig is a Fuel and Commodities Manager for PPMS.   He offers over 17 years of experience in various business management roles in the energy industry.  Tim joined PPMS in August 2010 from Cogentrix where he served as a Business Manager for Selkirk Cogen.    Prior to Cogentrix, Mr. Biittig served as Selkirk Business Analyst for PG&E Generating and PG&E National Energy Group.  Also at Selkirk Cogen, he was a Project Accountant and Senior Accountant for US Generating.  Earlier in his career Tim was Deputy Comptroller for the City of Cohoes, Financial Analyst for Astro-Valcour, Staff Accountant for  Cibro Petroleum Products and Credit Union Examiner for the National Credit Union Administration.   Tim received his BS Degree in Finance, cum laude, from Siena College.

Nan Howard, CPA:  Ms. Howard serves as a Manager of Tax for PPMS.  She joined PPMS from Cogentrix in August 2010 where she was Tax Director for over 5 years.  She previously held several positions with Deloitte Tax leading to Tax Manager serving many energy clients.  Nan has over 12 years of corporate and partnership tax experience.  Nan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Master of Accounting from the Kenan Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in both Mathematics and Secondary Math Education with Honors from North Carolina State University.

Jim Ryan:  Mr. Ryan serves as a Project General Manager for PPMS.  He joined PPMS from Cogentrix in August 2010 where he was General Manager of the Selkirk Cogeneration facility, and prior to that Fuels Manager at Northampton Generating.  He previously held several positions with NEGT and its predecessor PG&E's National Energy Group including Operations Manager, Plant Engineer, and Environmental Manager at Covert Generating, Plant Engineer at Cedar Bay, Maintenance Manager and Plant Engineer at Northampton Generating.  Jim earned his Bachelor of Science in Geo-Environmental Engineering from Penn State University.

Wanda Williams:  Ms. Williams serves as Selkirk Plant Administrative Manager for PPMS.  She joined PPMS from Cogentrix in August 2010.  She previously held several positions of increasing responsibility associated with Selkirk Cogen.   Prior to that Wanda served as an Executive Assistant for Pioneer Mutual Insurance Company.
